Allie The Artist

A painter of contrasts... Allie explores the atmospheric harmony of light and shadow observed in our natural environment; both in Palos Verdes where Allie resides and in Sweden where she spends her summers. To Allie this exploration of harmony is necessary in understanding how the environment is composed. This awareness of color and light has been highly influenced by teachers: Michael Brennan, Jeanne Zaskey, Ron Pekar and Martha Saudek. It has help her develop a personal style of painting involving glorious color in the landscape.
